We are proud to launch this Special Issue, driven by the Italian Stress Network founders Prof. Riva and Prof. Campolongo: "Stress as a Key Vulnerability Element Across the Lifespan." Stemming directly from the First ISN Meeting, this special issue aims to bridge cross-disciplinary and translational research to explore how stress shapes brain function and systemic physiology from early development to aging. We invite contributions that uncover novel mechanisms of stress vulnerability and resilience.
