The Steroids and Nervous System conference in Torino is an important international forum on the role of gonadal hormones and neurosteroids in shaping brain function and behavior. Recent editions have highlighted advances in neurosteroid biosynthesis, their mechanisms of action, and their involvement in neuroprotection and neurodegeneration. Neurosteroids are increasingly emerging as potential therapeutic tools against neurodegenerative diseases.

Within the conference, a Minisymposium entitled “The Multifaceted Link of Stress and Psychiatric Disorders: Unraveling Mechanisms to Advance Therapeutic Approaches” will also take place. This session is organized in collaboration between the Italian Stress Network and the Stress Networks of Spain and Switzerland, offering a unique opportunity to strengthen international cooperation in the field.

The XXVII National Congress of SINPF will focus on research, biotechnological innovations, and new neuropsychopharmacological approaches for the treatment of mental disorders, bringing together experts to advance scientific and clinical knowledge in the field.

The 38th ECNP Congress will take place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from 11–14 October 2025. As Europe’s leading meeting in applied neuroscience, it will bring together researchers, clinicians, and industry experts to share cutting-edge advances in psychiatry, neurology, and brain research. Different members of the Italian Stress Network will actively participate in symposia and other scientific sessions, contributing to the international exchange of knowledge. The congress will provide a unique opportunity for scientific collaboration, networking, and fostering the next generation of young researchers.

The 11th International Symposium on Resilience Research will take place from September 24-26, 2025, at Universitätsmedizin Mainz.
